We are drawing ever closer to the commemoration of our Savior’s suffering and death on the cross. For the Christian, Holy Week is a solemn week of reflection as we see what our Savior had to go through to save us from our sins and win for us eternal life.
But have you ever considered this event to be a glorifying event in the life of Jesus? It is! By carrying out the Father’s plan of salvation, Jesus was bringing glory to his Father and to himself. His work sealed for all people eternal life, and through faith in him it becomes ours.
So while Holy Week on the surface is a sad time, underneath it is a glorifying event that draws us and others to our Savior now and for all eternity. Join us this weekend in worship to learn more!
