We are so glad you are interested in our Christmas for Kids event! Here are some frequently asked questions to help you prepare for the afternoon of fun activities.

Where does Christmas for Kids take place?

The event takes place inside the gym located at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 129 S. Mason Street.  All activities take place indoors.  St. Matthew is located at the corner of Mason and Lawrence streets, one block south of College Ave. Enter through door #6 which is on Lawrence Street. Signs will be posted on the campus.

What should my child wear?

We have a variety of activities planned, such as crafts and an inflatable bounce house.  Your child should wear comfortable clothes that he or she can easily be active and possibly get a little messy!

Who will be supervising the attendees?

Children will be placed into smaller activity groups that are led by an adult volunteer  who is a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church.

Do I need to be present while my child attends?

Christmas for Kids was originally designed to give parents a break during the busy holiday season. This may be a great time to get some Christmas shopping completed or take a moment for self-care. Parents and guardians are more than welcome to stay during our activities, but you are not obligated to stay for the duration of the event.
